As the saying goes "The small barrel holds the best wine".....
Le Marognole is a boutique winery and this is precisely how we wish to maintain it, sharing with our customers the typical flavors of the past.
The grapes which produce the great DOC/DOCG wines are grown in the hills of Valpolicella Classica (as the area is named). The area has a rich history and long wine growing tradition.
The wines we produce in our winery are the result of passion, and above all, of a family working together in harmony with the land to produce our own personal range of wines: the Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore, Amarone CampoRocco, Recioto CampoGerico, as well as Rosato El Marascar, Rosso Verona El Nane, and the Veneto Bianco Passito.
You will find Le Marognole on the hills of Valgatara, in the valley of Marano, heart of the Valpolicella Classica area. The vineyards extend to the north-west of Verona between the plains, Lessinia and Lake Garda.
What makes our wine so special?
A land dedicated to and the work of man (terroir).
The subsoil in the area is calcareous, with excellent drainage yet retaining sufficient moisture in the event of a dry season.
